Friday 7.12: Game Day

Friday. Game Day

I'd love to crossfit today as well but we have a game in the evening so I'd better not risk anything but concentrate in giving my everything to the team and help us win the game. Tomorrow we'll do a heavy workout with my brother.

Toni went running today and had a meeting with "Sandy" if you still remember her from Triplet :)

  1. Sandy has been staring at me for a while asking me to take her out. So finally today was a perfect day for walking lunges with our lovely sandbag. My workout today was three rounds of 1 km run, 25 m Walking Lunges (25 kg sandbag) and 20 push ups. Due to a weather conditions this workout was extreme.

    My running speed was about 5.15/km which is not a super speed but running in soft snow is hard. Also walking lunges were tough because my legs were covered in snow. Push ups were very easy. Nowadays I do my push ups so that my chest always touches ground.

    My total time in this workout was about 15 minutes (3km, 75m walking lunges and 60 push ups).

    That workout you just finished today sounds very attempting! I'd really like to meet Sandy again, I still recall the pain in my legs days after Triplet =) I think we could do some metcons outdoors in the winter time as well, it would be something totally different due to the circumstances

  3. By the way, the game ended to our victory 22-6… How big a difference can there be for a game to end in these numbers? Huh, it was almost boring to play there, I missed a good training day because of this game ;)
